Cirrus - RC glider

Cirrus is a wooden, radio controlled glider that is based on Schempp-Hirth Standard Cirrus. It is scale model and I'm trying to build as accurately as possible to match its real life model. The scale model will have a wingspan of 2200 mm and length of 1500 mm.

It has been nice to see how complex shapes can be done using only wooden strips and fuselage ribs. This project has improved my understanding on how lightweight structures are constructed and how they can be designed. 

Currently, this project is paused due to lack of space for constructing this size of RC airplane. However, I will continue it later and hopefully be able to fly it some day.
