Portfolio

Hello there! I'm Jani and this is my portfolio.

This portfolio is designed to show who am I, what have I learned and how different fields of life, such as studies, projects and hobbies form the whole who I am. Here below is a short introduction of me. 

I'm a first year master student in Mechanical Engineering at Aalto University and a part time mechanical design trainee at ABB. I come from a family farm from Padasjoki, and my long-term goal is to become an expert in mechanical design. I believe that the R&D is becoming more important in business today, and as the systems are developing more diverse along with digitalization, the experts in multidisciplinary fields are needed. Therefore I'm studying mechatronics, which includes not only mechanics, but also electronics and control. 

The completion of my studies and gaining work experience are on my main focus now, but I also spend time among free-time activities. Today, I'm mostly concentrated on woodworking but I also do photography, fly RC-planes and play sports like badminton. I have also participated in multiple projects, most of them through my studies at Aalto, but some at my free time.
